Andrew Kahn, Psy.D.

Andrew Kahn, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist who specializes in serving pediatric clients, including high-risk children, and their families. Dr. Kahn has provided consultative, evaluative, therapeutic, and school/community-based intervention services to clients diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Disruptive Behavior Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

As a Clinical Director he assisted in development of agency wide programming with particular focus upon improved provision of mental health services to clients in rural settings emphasizing complex ethical concerns within those communities. Dr. Kahn has co-developed an array of school-based programs for students with ASD and he provides regular consultation and training for staff in these settings. He has devised and provided a wide array of presentations for clinicians, therapists, educators, multi-disciplinary teams, and families impacted by Asperger’s Syndrome and other emotional challenges Dr. Kahn presently serves on the Board of Directors of For Kids Sake, a multi-disciplinary task force of professionals who provide support to children coping with the impact of divorce. He also serves on the Autism Task Force for the Southern Penobscot Regional Program for Children with Exceptionalities.

Dr. Kahn has served as part-time instructor at the University of Maine with particular focus upon Abnormal Psychology. He earned his Psy.D. and M.S. from Nova Southeastern University and his B.S. from Syracuse University. Dr. Kahn is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists.
