Carol Masters, MS, OTR/L, is a licensed occupation therapist at Brevillier Village, a non-profit eldercare facility which meets housing and healthcare needs in a home-like atmosphere. Her clinical experience with the geriatric population and physical disabilities includes closed head, spinal cord and peripheral nerve injuries, joint replacement, amputation, and cardiac, pulmonary and stroke rehab. Ms. Masters specialized training includes neuroanatomy, fall prevention, NDT, assistive technologies, and cognitive rehab. She is an experienced program developer who has produced and presented training courses and seminars on such topics as assistive technology in occupational therapy, functional NDT, home modifications and functional adaptations to daily life, and wheelchair seating and positioning. Ms. Masters earned her MS magna cum laude and BS in Occupational Therapy from D’Youville College and is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
