Doug Rempe, MPT, M.Ed, ATC

Doug Rempe, MPT, M.Ed., ATC, is a licensed physical therapist whose clinical specialization focuses on biomechanics and dynamic functional rehabilitation. He is certified in Active Release Technique (ART) for lower extremities, is a certified athletic trainer with fifteen years experience, and is a patented inventor of functional physical therapy/ rehabilitative medicine equipment.

Mr. Rempe has served as an adjunct professor teaching therapeutic modalities and therapeutic exercise at Xavier University and as a guest lecturer at Miami University, the University of Cincinnati, and Andrews University. He is an experienced program developer who has presented at conferences and sports medicine symposiums on plyometrics, functional testing, training, rehabilitation, functional movement patterns, dynamic flexibility, and balance and core stabilization. Mr. Rempe was selected to work at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado and most recently represented the United States Paralympic Team at the 2007 Parapan American Games in Brazil and at the 2008 Paralympics in China as a member of the sports medicine staff.

He received his BS in Biology from Wittenberg University, his ATC degree and Master’s in Education from the University of Cincinnati, and his MPT from Andrews University.
