Jocelyn Metzger, MOTR/L

Jocelyn Metzger, MOTR/L, is a certified and licensed occupational therapist with a clinical focus on acute and long-term care client rehabilitation. Ms. Metzger has worked across multiple domains including skilled nursing, inpatient rehab, transitional, and long-term care facilities where she specializes in wheelchair positioning, home safety modifications, neuro-muscle re-education, slowing cognitive decline, pain management, ergonomic evaluation, and body mechanics training.

Ms. Metzger is trained in the basics of cardiac rehabilitation, and kinesiotaping. She has more than 120 hours of education in the John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Approach including specialization in unwinding, rebounding, cervical-thoracic, and fascial pelvis treatments. Ms. Metzger has completed the 3-week Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) training for adult hemiplegia and studied therapeutic interventions which drive neuroplastic change in stroke survivors.

She received a Masters in Occupational Therapy and a BA and a BS in Psychology from St. Ambrose University. Ms. Metzger is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the World Federation of Occupational Therapy, the Neurodevelopmental Treatment Association, the Kinesiotaping Association, and the Myofascial Release Association.
