Linda Kosinski, MS, OTR/L, BSN, RN, CIMIr, is a registered occupational therapist (NBCOT certified) and registered nurse with clinical experience across a variety of pediatric settings. These include inpatient, schools and outpatient treating children diagnosed with neurological, developmental, psychosocial conditions, rheumatic medical/systemic conditions, metabolic disorders, genetic syndromes, mental retardation, and reflex neurovascular dystrophy. She is a certified infant massage instructor (ILTF) who utilizes vocalization, eye-to-eye contact, and other positive behavioral reinforcements in everyday practice with a variety of special needs children.
Ms. Kosinski is trained in and utilizes special interventions in her case work including NDT handling techniques, Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT), oral sensory-motor therapy, functional electrical stimulation, andvisualperceptualremediation strategies. She consults with families and community resource members in coordinating services and developing home programs, works on interdisciplinary case study reviews, and prepares letters of medical necessity.
Ms. Kosinski earned her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and Bachelor’s Degrees in Nursing and Science from Duquesne University. She is a member of the Occupational Therapy Association.
