Michael Kett, PT, MS, CEEAA, is an APTA certified expert for aging adults with over thirty years of experience in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and home care. His expertise in rehabbing geriatric clients focuses on strength, balance, posture, aerobic capacity, and functional self-assessment while incorporating fitness strategies and their powerful, positive impact on the aging process. Mr. Kett has been a clinical instructor in exercise physiology at Northwestern University Physical Therapy School and instructor of orthopaedic and sports injury rehabilitation at Illinois Benedictine College. He is an experienced program developer who has produced and presented training courses and seminars on such topics as fitness, rehabilitation protocols, and sports medicine. Mr. Kett has published two books including Applied Magic which promotes creating a fun therapeutic environment to better engage clients while achieving functional improvement and Houdini in the Classroom which includes activities to enhance motor coordination. He received his MS in exercise physiology from George Williams College, a BS in physical therapy from Northwestern University and a BS in biology from Western Illinois University. Michael is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
