Neil A. Evans, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS is currently an assistant professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Marshall University. Dr. Evans has both clinical and didactic expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction in older adults. His primary research interest includes “The Influence of Human Movement Related to Neurolmusculoskeletal Dysfunction”. He is co-owner of Elite Rehab & Fitness, LLC, which specializes in both outpatient orthopedic and home health physical therapy services.
Dr. Evans received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ohio University in 1998, followed by his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Slippery Rock University in 2001. He has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 1998. In 2009 he earned his orthopedic clinical specialist certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He has presented multiple professional lectures in the topics of musculoskeletal diagnosis and intervention.
