Samuel Pieh, DPT, MPT, MBA

Samuel Pieh, DPT, MPT, MBA, is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and the owner of Nuthera, an ambulatory health care facility specializing in treatment of cervical, lumbar, and knee pain. His clinical work history includes head trauma, spinal cord, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine related impairments and treatment across a variety of settings. Dr. Pieh served as a staff physical therapist, clinical coordinator of education and autoambulator coordinator with HealthSouth and as director of rehabilitation of the inpatient acute hospital and outpatient physical therapy departments and coordinator of clinical education at Baptist Memorial. He has developed and implemented evidence-based cervical and lumbar pain treatment and rehabilitation programs integrating manual and stabilization progression techniques. Dr. Pieh has specialized training in critical inquiry, clinical decision-making and bioethics. He served as an adjunct faculty member of physical therapy at Tennessee State University where he taught best practices, ethics, fiscal responsibility, and provided clinical rotation education. Dr. Pieh received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University, his Master of Physical Therapy from University of Tennessee-Memphis and an MBA from Union University. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
