Varda Neuhaus, PT

Varda Neuhaus, PT, is a licensed physical therapist with more than 25 years of clinical experience across acute-care, outpatient, geriatric, and home healthcare settings with adults and pediatrics on a variety of neurological, orthopedic, and medical diagnoses.

Ms. Neuhaus began her career at prestigious Mt. Sinai Hospital and is currently senior physical therapist at Valley Hospital Home Health Agency where she serves on the patient satisfaction initiative and career advancement committees, mentors new homecare therapists and nurses, and is responsible for annual peer and chart reviews. Her training in geriatric care includes chronic pain relief, Alzheimer’s and other dementias, physical therapies for Parkinson’s disease, exercise, risk reduction and fall prevention in seniors, and counseling family caregivers. Ms. Neuhaus consults with and volunteers in community services for homebound clients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Multiple Sclerosis, or those recovering from a stroke and requiring home modification. She is an experienced program developer who has produced and presented training courses and seminars on such topics as joint replacement surgery, childbirth, pain management, and stress and anxiety reduction.

Ms. Neuhaus studied at Brooklyn College and received her BS in physical therapy from Downstate Medical Center. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
