Miller Ed. D. CCC-SLP is a professional whose 25 plus years\u2019 commitment to the communication disorders profession has improved the lives of her clients and over 300 speech-language pathology students. Dr. Miller is the owner of KMiller Enterprises a communication empowerment company that specializes in providing educational and communication strategies to improve organizations. As a Clinical Associate Professor at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) she founded the Neurogenic Aphasia Group (NAG) which afforded members of the Durham, NC community free speech and language treatment, along with providing clinical practicum experiences to graduate students. Dr. Miller has traveled to China to train students from Beijing Linguistic and Cultural University (BLCU) along with graduate students from NCCU in the field of speech-language pathology.<\/p>\n<p>As a Clinical Educator, Dr. Miller has completed and presented research, nationally and internationally in the areas of clinical supervision, multicultural issues in supervision, reflective practice and adult neurogenics. She has scholarly publication including a chapter entitled \u201cSupervision the Other Side of Diversity\u201d in Cases in Communication Disorders in Culturally Diverse Populations (Scott, D. 2020). Katrina has worked in a variety of settings with patients across the life span in addition to administrative and clinic director\/coordinator roles. She has served and held leadership positions on several boards including Brain Injury Association of North Carolina, The Arc of Durham and the National Black Association for Speech, Language and Hearing.
