This lunch and learn focuses on how to identify visual deficits in adult and geriatric patients. We'll explore real-lifescenarios where signs of a vision problem, such as a change in behavior, balance, or mental state, are often mistaken for a cognitive, motor, or a mental health disorder. The goal is to help practitioners recognize these subtle signs and know when to assess a patient's vision or refer them for a comprehensive visual exam.

• Recognize fall risk factors by identifying subtle visual deficits that contribute not only to fall and decreased mobility but also to impaired cognition, perception, perceived fine motor deficits, social engagement and overall deficits in ADL and IADL function
