Alabama CE Courses

Summit Professional Education provides continuing education (CE) courses to PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Educators in the state of Alabama. In many states this includes the local chapters or sections of the board of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). AL PT/PTA's

PTs and PTAs in AL need 10 credits every year, license renewal occurs on October 1st every year. Completion of 2 credits in AL jurisprudence is required every 5 years.

CE Recap:

10 credits every year, 100% allowed online

AL OTs & OTAs

OTs in AL need 30 credits and OTAs need 20 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends on April 30th or October 31st every other year.

CE Recap:

30 credits for OTs and 20 for OTAs every 2 years, 100% allowed online.

AL SLPs

SLPs in AL need 12 credits every year. 1 credit ethics required. The license cycle ends on December 31st annually.

CE Recap:

12 credits every year, 100% allowed online
