Summit Professional Education provides continuing education (CE) courses to PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Educators in the state of Colorado. Summit works with numerous state boards and accrediting authorities nationwide to offer continuing education to PTs, OTs, and SLPs. In many states this includes the local chapters or sections of the board of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). CO PT/PTA's
CO PTs need 30 credits and PTAs need 20 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends on October 31st of even years.
CE Recap:
30 credits for PTs, 20 credits for PTAs every 2 years, 100% allowed online
CO OTs & OTAs
OTs and OTAs in CO need 24 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends on December 31st of even years.
CE Recap:
24 credits every 2 years, no more than 12 credits from 1 Category.
CO SLPs
SLPs in CO need 10 credits every year. The license cycle ends on November 30th.
CE Recap:
10 credits every year, 100% allowed online
CO Educators
Educators in CO need 90 credits every 3 - 5 years. The license cycle ends 3 -5 from the issued date.
CE Recap:
90 credits every 3 - 5 years, 100% allowed online
