Maine CE Courses

Summit Professional Education provides continuing education (CE) courses to PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Educators in the state of Maine. Summit works with numerous state boards and accrediting authorities nationwide to offer continuing education to PTs, OTs, and SLPs. In many states this includes the local chapters or sections of the board of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). ME PT/PTA's

PTs in ME are not required to complete CE. The license cycle ends 3/31 annually.

CE Recap:

No CE required.

ME OTs & OTAs

OTs in ME need 10 hours and OTAs need 6 hours every year. The license cycle ends on March 31st. 1 Hour ethics required yearly.

CE Recap:

10 credits for OTs and 6 for OTAs every year, 100% allowed online.

ME SLPs

SLPs in ME need 10 credits every year. The license cycle ends on February 28th each year.

CE Recap:

10 credits every year, 4 credits allowed online without instructor interaction.

ME Educators

Educators in ME need 90 credits every 5 years. The license cycle ends on February 1st and July 1st.

CE Recap:

90 credits every 5 years, 100% allowed online
