Maryland CE Courses

Summit Professional Education provides continuing education (CE) courses to PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Educators in the state of Maryland. Summit works with numerous state boards and accrediting authorities nationwide to offer continuing education to PTs, OTs, and SLPs. In many states this includes the local chapters or sections of the board of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). MD PT/PTA's

PTs need 30 credits and PTAs need 20 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends May 31st on varying years, with CE due by March 31st of renewal year.

CE Recap:

30 credits for PTs and 20 credits for PTAs every 2 years, 100% allowed online.

MD OTs

OTs in MD need 24 credits every 2 years. The license cycle ends on June 30th on varied years.

CE Recap:

24 credits every 2 years, 100% allowed online.

MD SLPs

SLPs in MD need 30 credits every two years. The license cycle ends on May 31st, the year varies.

CE Recap:

30 credits every 2 years, 100% allowed online

MD Educators

Educators in MD do not require CEs.

Not required
