North Carolina CE Courses

Summit Professional Education provides continuing education (CE) courses to PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Educators in the state of North Carolina. Summit works with numerous state boards and accrediting authorities nationwide to offer continuing education to PTs, OTs, and SLPs. In many states this includes the local chapters or sections of the board of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). NC PT/PTA's

PTs need 30 CEUs and PTAs need 20 credits every two years. The license cycle ends January 31st.

CE Recap:

30 credits for PTs and 20 credits for PTAs every two years, 10 hours allowed with no interaction

NC OTs & OTAs

OTs and OTAs in NC need 15 credits every year. The license cycle ends on June 30th annually. 1 credit ethics required.

CE Recap:

15 credits every year, 100% allowed online.

NC SLPs

SLPs in NC need 30 credits every 3 years. The license cycle varies.

CE Recap:

30 credits every 3 years, 100% allowed online

NC Educators

Educators in NC need 80 credits every 5 years. The license cycle ends on July 1st.

CE Recap:

80 credits every 5 years, 100% allowed online
