Ohio CE Courses

Summit Professional Education provides continuing education (CE) courses to PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Educators in the state of Ohio. Summit works with numerous state boards and accrediting authorities nationwide to offer continuing education to PTs, OTs, and SLPs. In many states this includes the local chapters or sections of the board of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). OH PT/PTA's

OH PTs need 24 credits and PTAs need 12 credits every two years. 2 credits of ethics/jurisprudence are required to be completed through the state module. The license renewal cycle ends January 31st on even years for PTs and odd years for PTAs.

OH OTs & OTAs

OTs and OTAs in OH need 20 credits every 2 years. 1 credit of ethics/jurisprudence/cultural competence, and 1 credit of mental health/substance abuse is required. The license renewal cycle ends June 30th, odd years for OTs and even years for OTAs.
