Summit Professional Education provides continuing education (CE) courses to PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Educators in the state of Texas. Summit works with numerous state boards and accrediting authorities nationwide to offer continuing education to PTs, OTs, and SLPs. In many states this includes the local chapters or sections of the board of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). TX PT/PTA's

TX PTs need 30 credits every 2 years and PTAs need 20 credits every 2 years. 1 credit of human trafficking is required, and a 2 credit ethics/jurisprudence module issued through the state is also required. The license cycle ends biennially, the date varies.

TX OTs & OTAs

OTs and OTAs in TX need 24 credits every 2 years. The completion of a TX HHSC approved Human Trafficking course is required. Licenses are renewed biennially, the date varies.

TX SLPs

SLPs in TX need 20 credits every 2 years. 2 credits ethics and 1 credit of human trafficking required. The license cycle ends every 2 years, the date varies.
