The Complex Factors that Enable Successful Mealtime

Presented By: Nisha S. Sanghvi, OTR/L

Feeding is a complex, developmental process that involves physiological development, oral-motor strength, and coordination skills, gastrointestinal system, sensory components, and emotions. Therapists need to support responsive feeding strategies where the child is engaged in enjoyable mealtime experiences ensuring optimal growth and development.
