Learn how to prepare your clients and families for transition from high school to college or beyond. This is a great resource for providers who are comfortable in the pediatric rehab, outpatient setting, or schools, but struggle with ideas for helping teens or young adults transition. This is for providers who might be working in outpatient settings that touch mental health, autism and IDD, or other related client-bases who need extra support for success in achieving maximum independence in employment, housing scenarios, self-care skills, and relationship development.

Danielle Feerst OTR/L, is a life and career coach for young adults with Autism and works currently in neuro-rehab research. Her coaching practice specializes in relational thinking and our connection to God, self, and others as a way to navigate the workplace, current culture, and social relationships. Her clinical focus has been on Autism/ADHD with a background in research and consulting services for the disability technology community. Her coaching program www.ielevateyourcareer.com is referred to by the Frist Center for Autism and Innovation at Vanderbilt University. She graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering Psychology and Entrepreneurship, and a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy.
