Utilizing Movement Analysis for Exercise Prescription: Part 1
Price:$99.99
In these times of changing health care, it is common to have less time/visits with our patients. The challenge to the clinician is continuing to provide excellent quality care, assess problems, and meet goals within this new clinical environment. Analyzing movement patterns is an excellent tool in determining problems and optimizing functional outcomes. Movement analysis is a crucial component of any rehab program, but proficiency requires practice. This course is designed to provide the clinician practice to augment their ability to provide proficient movement analysis. Detailed anatomy examination is incorporated into this course as the participant looks at examples of exercises and functional activities from the vantage point of the muscular system. Video examples will be a primary teaching method in this program.

i would've preferred to see with weight-lifting movement analysis with shirts off. i was expecting more complex details including review of specific core stabilizers during movement analysis. would've like to have seen more functional movement analysis than exercise.

i really enjoyed this class because it was a wonderful review of the muscles, actions, and innervations. the instructor was very knowledgeable and i know this subject matter can be boring and dry but i thought it was anything but that.

it would have been helpful to get deeper into movements, ex. muscular involvement of scapular rhythm

as far as content, was decent gross overview. instructor had mentioned emg studies indicating active muscles, but i would like to see more data\/information on this. also, there are some computer programs where you can view muscles\/s activated during movement and this would be a good supplement to highlight his point.
