Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is primarily a disorder of self-regulation and performance-not ability. Due to the presence of brain differences in this population, a scientific approach to ADHD management is needed. This course will provide participants with evidence-based, practical treatment solutions while also establishing acollaborative framework to promote carryover across environments. Participants will gain knowledge of strategies and tools that can be utilized for therapeutic andaccommodative purposes. Furthermore, participants will learnhow the gifts of ADHD can be the foundation of success for effective management of the diagnosis.

Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Speech-Language Pathologists
