Dynamic Assessment in Autism
Price:$99.99
This course will provide strategies for shifting away from a "one-size-fits-all" approach to evaluation. As clinicians, we must work toward creating neuroaffirming plans for students with autism that respect diverse communication methods and build on the inherent strengths. Participants will examine dynamic assessment strategies, tools for observing communication skills in the natural environment and strength-based approaches. In doing this, clinicians will maximize assessment effectiveness and be able to createtreatment plans that can more effectively address each individual's unique needs.
The content of this program is germane to children, students and clients ages birth-18 years old.
Target Audience: Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Speech-Language Pathologists

it reinforced assessment strategies that i have been doing outside of or in addition to standardized assessments, and now i can use this course as a reference to why it is important to get "more information" in a more "non-traditional " way .
