Price:$299.99
All children face many challenges today. These challenges are continually changing in our world, affecting learning, gross and fine motor development, and problem- solving skills. Understanding the mind-body connection and the relationship between learning and movement is crucial for improving a child's school performance and functional abilities. Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD), self-regulation, sensory processing, and stress- related disorders face even greater challenges. A clear understanding of the specific brain differences with these disorders and their implications is essential for successful interventions.
This course will teach participants to improve brainfunction as it relates to learning in children with sensory challenges. Drawing upon the most up to date brainresearch, this workshop will provide a thorough understanding of the brain's impact on a child's success. Participants will learn the significance of the mind-body connection, and how to set up brain neurochemistry for the most effective learning and best performance. Participants will leave this workshop with strategies that can be implemented immediately in the classroom and therapy settings.
The content of this program is germane to children, students and clients ages 0-18 years old
