i was fascinated by how much time she discussed torticollis and plagiocephaly but did not mention the apta's cpg for torticollis. additionally, it is well established, best practice, and frankly relied on by all my pediatricians, the we use a craniometer (best one is mimos craniometer - https:\/\/www.mimosbabycare.com\/craniometer\/) to take the cranial vault asymmetry index for plagiocephaly or for brachiocephaly the cephalic ratio. for cvai, if there is 4 or more mm difference between the diagonals at age 4-5 months, then the patient should be referred to an orthotist for evaluation. 3 or less at 4-5 months is ok. i usually noticed about 1 mm improvement every 2 weeks at best.
