With handwriting no longer being considered a primary subject in school curricula, children with special needs areoften left behind. Their motor skills require special attention to ensure the supportive success and increase their ability to participate within the academic environment. Through targeted therapeutic activities, occupational therapists caninfluence neuroplasticity and enhance their visual motor skills to effectively develop the confidence necessary to perform handwriting-related activities. This course will present practical and engaging opportunities to create sessions thatchildren will enjoy, which produce measurable results. Attendees will also learn practical assessment strategies tocollect data and demonstrate creative ways to influencehandwriting performance for use in the clinic the next day.

having a document cam or video would be more helpful than trying to show a dry erase board, push pin, etc in the small presenter window

the title does not fit the description. this is only about handwriting, not all fine motor skills

this is the most revelant and engaging course that i've taken in awhile. i'm recommending to other school based ots to take also. the post test needs to be updated. it does not align with the course material

after taking a few courses by this teacher, they all seem to be very similar. the slides almost seem like a copy\/paste for the majority of the course. there are a few new things added in on occasion but a lot of repeated info.
