Additional Information

In 2024, the CDC reported that one in six children is diagnosed with a developmental disability. Research has shown that motor skills afford exploration, provide experience, and agility, which are critical for promoting brain structure andfunction (Shi, 2022). Despite the correlation between milestone achievement and later intelligence and mentalhealth, the AMA adjusted milestone markers, putting U.S. children further behind. This course will provide professionals working in early intervention a checklist of key milestones to provide targeted interventions, from nutrition and sleep to open learning strategies, to boost motor development!

The content of this program is germane to children, students and clients ages Birth-3 yearsold.

instructor was great. unfortunately internet connection repeatedly disrupted the audio and visual quality. the instructor and tech support did make concessions to assist us which was appreciated

the audio was terrible and kept cutting off it made the experience very frustrating. this is the first time this happened for me with summit. this is unfortunate because the material was very good and relevant to my profession. not sure if the issue was with the platform (summit) or if it was the instructors internet. either way, when these issues occur, rescheduling should take place.

the streaming issues of glitching and have to go back in and out impacted the course. frustrating to set aside my time for a live event and it was not related on one state or region. not a good learning opportunity.
