Pediatric Motor Planning
Price:$99.99
Smooth and coordinated motor skills are not only a product of strong motor planning but also of sensory integration to elicit a coordinated motor response (Martel, et al., 2022). Motor planning deficits can be lifelong, and it is common for children with other diagnoses to have delays in motor skills. Motor planning delays can present in a variety of patterns from general discoordination or specific motor deficits such as gross, oral, or fine motor delays. Children with ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, dyslexia, or an intellectual disability often struggle with motor planning and coordination delays. Research conducted by Miller and colleagues in 2022 looked at the differences in body schema and motorlearning abilities and found that children with developmental coordination disorders improved their motor control andcoordination with the practice of motor skills. Learning about evidence-based research treatments and the best practices when it comes to children with motor planning disorders is essential to being the best pediatric practitioner you can be. This course uses evidence, videos, and case studies to learnthe best practices when working with children with motor planning delays.

i wish the 10 sec rewind button wa further from the progress bar since on my ipad if i wanted to go back to repeat something said or seen but would touch the progress bar at the same time and move progress. 30 min or more and lose my place in the video. also would be good to have a back up and forward button to go from slide to slide because, i would just miss the last thing that was written on the slide and want to go back to look at it again and then i couldn't get back to the spot i was with out hitting that progress bar again, and losing my place again

the supplemental videos were good. it would be nice to have the info contained within the videos presented in the next slide. trying to watch and quickly take notes of the video was difficult. case studies would have been nice to see tests used, changes made, test-retest info, what treatment strategies were employed.
