Reflex Integration
Price:$219.99
Children with and without existing diagnoses are presenting with sensory and motor challenges due to persistent primitive reflexes. These children present with coordination, balance, and motor challenges that influence their ability to fully engage in meaningful play. Due to theinfluence on motor development, the presence of reflexes also influences a child's ability to fully participate in their home and school environments.
This relevant course emphasizes the need to evaluatethe presence of reflexes, motor development, and sensory differences to develop an effective plan of treatment. Various hands-on opportunities to trial assessment tools and intervention strategies will be provided. We will also discuss the best practices for documenting treatment to support highimpact interventions and illustrate the need for therapy services. This course is designed for physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists who work with children to develop additional solutions to influence motor development and skill acquisition.
*Hands on lab will be modified for Web based delivery formats into recorded demonstrations
Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Speech-Language Pathologists

i think it would have been helpful to have more emphasis on the reflexes and the exercises to address those specific exercises. i also think video demonstrations would have been more helpful than pictures. it was hard to see your demonstrations of the specific exercises. i was hoping to have more exercises to use in my toolbox for reflex integration. i have looked up several videos and exercise ideas on my own and was hoping this class would put more of the pieces together such as what specific retained reflexes look like and how to specifically address those retained reflexes. i do appreciate the resources you listed and look forward to using those to learn more.
