Additional Information

Evidence-based practice in the school setting is not only essential to best practice, but also required by law. Research (Nichols, 2017) shows when practitioners attended an evidence-based practice workshop their knowledge, comfort, and implementation of evidence-based evaluations and treatments improved substantially. This course will review evidence-based practice for therapists and the laws governing the use of evidence-based practice treatments in the school setting. At the end of this course, clinicians will beable to discern the value of evidence in a step-by-stepmethod. Attendees will demonstrate confidence in the evidence-based evaluations and treatments they arechoosing and endorsing to their school districts.

  • Review and implement evidence-based research into the school setting.
  • Best practice standards for providing highquality evaluations and treatments to all school children

the presenter used acronyms a couple of times and didn't state what they were. this was pre-taped presentation, so i wasn't able to ask what they meant. it also seemed like there was too much time spent on the case study.

Cassie (AR) on Jul 16, 2025

the words presented were no inline with what she was saying which got confusing.
