This 2-hour dynamic course will take you on the autism journey to help you understand the importance of visual supports and early intervention for this growing population. Not only is "making visual" essential, it can also help to improve classroom success and daily living skills. It is time to think outside the box and get creative in your home, classroom, and therapy settings. Participants will be provided practical visual supports and strategies to use in the home, natural setting, therapy setting or school. The course will provide participants with low budget resources they canimplement tomorrow as well as a greater appreciation of the child with autism.

i have been an ot for 35 years. i can count on one finger how many classes i have taken that held my interest and gave me real concrete ideas, instructions and resources. this presenter is interesting, clearly passionate and the most real presenter i have ever listened to. i am recommending this class to all my co-workers.

love the fact that she is a therapist and a parent of a child with autism. i also love that she provided items you can implement immediately in sessions.

the teacher was great. i appreciate that she had so many resources to recommend. it would have been more useful for me (in keeping them straight in my head) if the teacher had written more of the resources down on the slides as we went along, just because she mentioned so many. this would help me organize what resource goes with what area, although i certainly appreciate the the extensive list at the end. maybe something to expand upon in the future!
