Additional Information

Torticollis incidents continue to grow annually, however, treatments remain predominantly manual therapy based. Many infants with torticollis present without limitations in their active and/or passive neck motion leaving therapists questioning the best manual therapy approach to use. There are currently no studies on the impact of treating infants with torticollis with a vision-based approach.

This course will demonstrate how to assess infants with torticollis to determine the impact that their vision is playing on their head position. Participants will learn three different vision-based treatment approaches to use with torticollis patients for quick, noticeable improvement in head position within one week of implementation.

it was rushed towards the end and she was unable to explain alternative methods (ex: glasses held at end). i wish she was not limited on time and was able to go over.

the sound had poor quality in the beginning - it was difficult to hear and understand some of the things that were said. the closed captioning helped.
