Over 25 million Americans suffer from temporary or chronic incontinence. The majority of these are women over the age of 50. Incontinence interferes with daily activities and can cause sufferers to avoid participation in activities with others. This course will provide instruction on identification ofthe four types of incontinence and walk through the most effective treatment rationales for exercises and modalities. At the conclusion of this course, therapists will be enabled with a better understanding on how to assess and treat incontinence.

instructor was terrible. did not use a single graphic to illustrate any material and there were plenty of times she could have. did not use a single reference for any of her material- this is unheard of in our field when educating others. she also has a demeaning tone towards patients- you never call a patient a "stroke lady" or "my incontinent lady". you refer to patients as "my patient who suffered a stroke" or the "patient with incontinence". she says "the patient isn't allowed to go to the bathroom". our patients aren't toddlers. i was totally turned off by this instructor.

instructor at times did not articulate well and that made it difficult to understand some of the content. i felt the content was more appropriate for inpatient or nursing home residents and not as appropriate for outpatient patients and wish that had been more apparent before i signed up for the course.

toni was very receptive to answering all questions. she was very passionate and knowledgeable in teaching all of her topics in physical therapy.
