Every year more than 795,000 people will have a stroke in the US. Approximately 29% of those will experience unilateral neglect consequently. Unilateral neglect creates deficits across all domains of movement and function including strength, motor planning and vision. It is one of the most challenging diagnoses referred to rehab professionals. This course will examine the presentation of neglect, discuss in detail the specific components and provide treatmentsuggestions.
