Parkinson's disease is a common neurological diseaseaffecting older adults across a variety of clinical practicesettings. Parkinson's disease can be progressive in nature and lead to functional decline including impaired activities of daily living, balance function, gait, and ultimately quality of life and independence. This course will discuss the recommendations in the clinical practice guideline from the American Physical Therapy Association (2022) and provide examples of how to apply the recommendations to your daily practice.

sometimes felt that it was a little slow - reading straight off of powerpoint. however, i did really love the incorporation of video examples when discussing exercise intervention.

instructor referenced hoen and yahr parkinsons stages but i could not find where the stages were written out to describe them. when googling them, some don't seem to match what she referenced.
