Brainstem strokes are the deadliest and most common type of stroke globally. In the United States, strokes are incredibly frequent. However, many healthcare providers lackthe confidence to treat patients after a brainstem stroke, which can lead to poorer patient outcomes and missed opportunities for maximizing reimbursement. Further, rapid decline can occur after just 10 days of bed rest, highlighting the need for early and confident rehabilitation techniques. This course provides a strong foundation for understanding strokes, particularly those affecting the brainstem. Clinicians will gain refreshed knowledge of brainstem anatomy and common impairments caused by stroke in each area. The course delves into evidence-based and innovative approaches to address these impairments. Clinicians will gain hands-on skills to improve patient outcomes directly in their practice.

i also am licensed in pa but do not see an option to add that license number. the instructor was knowledgeable and intervention examples and videos were good. too many abbreviations in the slides and it would be good to always write them out for clarity as you are dealing with clinicians of all different backgrounds.
