In the setting of a neurodegenerative diagnosis, traditional aphasia rehabilitation approaches to evaluation and treatment no longer serve to promote communication in decline. This webinar will review a person-centered approachto primary progressive aphasia, highlighting the role of thespeech-language pathologist (SLP) as a partner with thefamily and client in establishing meaningful, accessible, and flexible language supports to maintain participation and quality of life.
