Clinicians treating cognitive rehabilitation are charged with providing evidence-based and functional tasks to comply with current best practice standards. Cognitive rehabilitation has a wide scope. Clinicians who providecognitive rehabilitation are asked to be experts in all cognitiveprocesses. This two-hour course will provide evidence- based, practical, and effective strategies to provide cognitive rehabilitation for patients with attention deficits. Evidence- based and functional activities focusing on attention will be provided. Learning will be enhanced by case studies. Occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and speech-language pathologists will leave this course with an arsenal of attention tasks to become an expert in treating this area of cognition.
