The design of this course is to define, review and illustrate core ethical behavior for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants as it relates to the standards of the state of Hawaii. The information contained in this continuing education course will provide the necessary framework for physical therapy professionals working in Hawaii tomake ethical decisions reflective of the American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA) Code of Ethics and Guide for Professional Conduct and the legal standards of behavior based on the Rules and Practice Act of the Hawaii Board of Physical Therapy.
