Comprehensive Gait Analysis

This course will help practitioners to effectively and efficiently break down the phases of gait and recognize common gait patterns. Following gait assessment, clinicians will be able to determine appropriate tests and measures to include in an initial evaluation. Therapists will have the opportunity to perform a gait analysis and identify common gait abnormalities. After this course, clinicians will feel confident in recognizing the phases of gait, identifying thepatient's functional deficits, and choosing appropriate tests and measures to include in an evaluation. This will allow for improved decision making and focusing on function to determine a patient's plan of care.
