An Evidence-Based Approach to Treating the Lumbopelvic Complex
Franklin, TN - Feb 27, 2026 (8:00 AM to 3:30 PM US/Central)
Price:$299.99
Low back pain - three words that evoke a myriad of responses in how we treat our patients/clients. The NationalInstitutes of Health estimate 80% of adults experience back pain in their lifetime and 25% have experienced it in the last 3 months. Back pain is the leading cause of missed workdays annually. Prescription medications have long been an answer for pain reduction but now we must question such methods. Itis important that therapists get the most out of treatment to show progress. Making sure you are selecting the most appropriate exercises and modality such as IASTM, dry needling, CBD oil, and taping based on the assessment is critical for ultimate patient outcomes.
This hands-on, one day course will simplify the lumbopelvic complex by learning a step-by-step approach to finding the cause and specific interventions that attack thecause at its root. Participants will learn simple and effective manual therapy treatments to combine with exercise includingjoint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization (both manual and instrument assisted), dry needling, and taping all geared tohelp people return to function and reduce pain. Participantswill see how to skillfully apply pain science education and correct choice of words that can break through fears and misconceptions surrounding movement. You'll leave with an examination template and videos (FREE download) of the examination, treatment, and exercise interventions to reference and apply the next day.
Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Athletic Trainers
