The quadratus lumborum is an important muscle group to understand for rehabilitation professionals. Dysfunction of this muscle group has been researched and shown to contribute to lower back pain, decreased athletic performance, and increased sports injury risk. This course will review the functional anatomy of the quadratus lumborum and how itrelates to human movement. In addition, the course will delve into the potential clinical presentations of dysfunction of this muscle group and treatment options to manage it.
