Opioids, joint replacements, corticosteroids, and other medicines are not benign. One out of every 4 patients with knee replacements will have on-going pain. no real information. minimal to no information about parameters, especially with estim and us. most information was her opinion. you do not need towels to ice, maybe a thin sheet. i realize it's only a 2 hour course, but she could have done more than a brief overview of modality options. none were actually taught, and didn't teach lumbar traction because her reason was, "nobody here uses it". lumbar traction is a great option. and the slam against "trainers". she should be ashamed of herself. i learned way more about modalities in athletic training than i ever did in pt school. this class is way under entry level. so disappointed.

would like more about tens units basically the instructor mentioned continuous for analgesia however interested in modulation and pulse frequencies and applications inclusive to russian and ionophoresis.
