Additional Information

The CDC estimates that nearly 70% of Americans have been ill or experienced a COVID infection. In fact, many of the patients we treat every day have experienced a COVID infection at some point since infection rates began. This course is designed to offer a nutritional approach in adjunct with typical rehabilitation protocol for addressing patient issues due to long Covid that have affected their overall quality of life. COVID-19 infection has been found to attackorgans and systems including cardiovascular, digestive, and respiratory. During its attack, many vital nutrients are sacrificed to assist the body in successfully fighting off the infection. If those nutrients are missing or lacking, the body begins to experience various long-term effects that are verydifficult to overcome. This course will offer discussion on possible COVID related nutrient deficiencies and potential ways to improve their presence in the organ systems needed for full recovery. Finally, the course will look at various COVIDdiet related programs and analyze how to recommend the appropriate patient-specific program based on patient presentation and limitations.

i was kicked out of the webinar several times (e.g. when i received a phone call, even when i didn't answer). it would be wonderful to be able to have the functions of a smartphone available without having to re-join the course repeatedly. maybe something like how some apps that put the video into a smaller picture rather than disconnecting you from the content if you access another app. also - the system said i was a no show, when i actually attended the entire webinar.

spent a little too much time on "tangents" for lack of better term and therefore was rushed at the end. technology was difficult until i was able to switch over to chrome. it should be on the website to use chrome so the clinician can start it from the appropriate device.
