Nutritional Management

Therapists do not need to be nutritionists to understand that diet affects your lifestyle and is an important piece in overall health. In this course participants will learn the importance of nutrition and its impact on all aspects of patient care. From pediatrics to geriatrics, this course will explore the topic of nutrition as it relates to daily nutritionalrecommendations. We will discuss nutrition as part of acoordinated plan of care in post-surgical healing and recovery. The course will also include a pediatric nutritional component and participants will discover how nutritional needs change throughout the life span and with various disease processes.
