Orthopedic Care Across Settings
Price:$99.99
Providing comprehensive, progressive care across the continuum of orthopedic settings presents unique challenges to clinicians in all settings, including issues with poor patientcompliance. A greater understanding of the treatment approaches, patient education strategies, goals, and outcomes common to the orthopedic patient in each setting and how these outcomes can be carried across settings can improve your patient's outcomes and expand your treatment toolbox as a clinician. It is no surprise to clinicians that poorcompliance with physical therapy treatment negatively impacts patient outcomes following orthopedic intervention. Learn about factors related to why patients demonstrate poorcompliance and patient education techniques to improve compliance and patient outcomes (Kattan et al., 2023).
This course will instruct therapists in the key components of orthopedic treatments in home healthcare, SNF, acutecare, inpatient, and orthopedic outpatient care. Upon completion of this course, clinicians will be able to plan effective orthopedic interventions in various settings and understand how the continuum of care changes from acutecare through the completion of orthopedic outpatient therapy. Orthopedic treatment techniques relative to orthopedics willbe presented so that clinicians have access to treatment techniques that can be implemented in the clinic tomorrow!
Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Athletic Trainers

i felt that it could have gone into more depth about fewer conditions. the amount of conditions covered throughout each setting felt breezed-over.

it was great how knowledgeable this instructor is over a broad range of pt diagnoses and treatments. i like how she described how differently diagnoses are treated across different states and areas, and asked for attendee comments. i would have liked to learn more about specific exercises for treatments of specific diagnoses, but that would have needed to be a longer course.

too many questions. 3-4 satisfactions questions are sufficient. it's annoying and time consuming.
