Additional Information

Pelvic floor training is highly valuable to clinicians because the pelvic floor is intricately connected to core stability, continence, sexual health, and overall movement, making it relevant across nearly every area of practice. This course is designed to provide foundational knowledge of pelvic floor anatomy and function, enabling participants to recognize common pelvic floor dysfunctions and apply basic assessment and treatment strategies within their professional scope. Learning this information early in a clinician's career supports the early identification of red flags, which can lead to improved patient outcomes and a reduction in chronicissues. Furthermore, a solid understanding of pelvic floor health enhances collaboration with other healthcare providers. Ultimately, this course equips clinicians with the tools to apply their knowledge in practice and recommend interventions that lead to better outcomes for their patients.

i wish she would have left more time to address the actual treatment options. i did not think she addressed this area adequately.

as a newcomer to this area of practice, i felt like the test questions were hard. the names of all the muscles and things are hard to remember when you.ve been out of school for as long as i have.

overall it was a really good presentation, but during the anatomy portion i felt like the the physical highlighting of the anatomy did not add to my learning and distracted the instructor. if there was anything specific to point out then i would color the different muscles so she can indicate which muscle she is talking about. the image lagged so most of the time by the time the line she drew popped up she was already talking about the next muscle or bony prominence. for a very beginning pf course i feel it's less important to know the names of the muscles and instead focus on what they do.

maybe a note stating prepping for the course it would be helpful to review the anatomy so when she presented it, it would be easier to follow.
