The American Cancer Society’s estimates ~ 313,780 new cases of prostate cancer for 2025. With pelvic floor dysfunction being a major side effect of prostate cancer treatments, it is important that therapists know how to helpthese patients preoperatively, post-operatively and throughout their lifespan. Urinary incontinence and erectiledysfunction are common side effects post prostatectomy and have major adverse effects on both mental and physical health related quality of life. This workshop will arm therapistswith tools they need to evaluate and treat these side effects in people after prostatectomy.
