Current Concepts of Exercise, Pain Science, and Manual Therapy

An emerging paradigm shift in healthcare is to focus on wellness and prevention to address modifiable risk factors of disease rather than wait until disease is present to intervene. This course will provide attendees with an overview of prominent orthopedic rehabilitation interventions and their relationship to wellness and patient care. Current evidence will be synthesized to give attendees guidance on effective implementation in clinical practice. A proposed interventionframework and clinical examples will be provided to facilitate practical patient care.
