Patients with a scoliosis diagnosis who seek therapy or medical care often present with a unique clinical presentation as compared to patients who present with traditional back pain. In order to provide effective treatment to adolescentsand adults with a scoliosis diagnosis, a thorough understanding of the anatomy as well as muscle and tissue imbalances is required. This course will cover the differenttypes of scoliosis, typical clinical presentations, research- based treatment approaches, and case studies to allow practice with clinical application.
Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants

the fact that she provided hep which we can start using right away.

i did not feel like the evaluation content was sufficient. i did appreciate the hep ideas at the end of treatment but did not feel the content sufficient supported the treatment program (ie i saw x in evaluation so will do y to treat it)

i would have probably liked to know more treatment interventions specific to the geriatric population who have trouble achieving positions in terms of bed mobility and standing.
